About Diana and her Dogs
Diana is a second-generation dog person. Her mother, Jeannette Dafoe, did conformation and obedience with her dogs. As a child, Diana would accompany her mother to dog shows where she competed in junior handling, conformation, and obedience. Diana also trained dogs in flyball and scent hurdling. Now, Diana's passion is Agility. She has trained two dogs, Ventress and Mera, to an AAC Agility Trial Champion with limited trialing. Her now-deceased dog, Taz, achieved a CKC Agility Excellent title. Diana is currently training her young dog, Mando (AKA Mandalorian). She and Ventress were the first and only Manitoba team to qualify for the CKC Agility Team Canada and traveled to the Netherlands to compete in the European Open (2019). Diana and Ventress were slated to go to Brazil and compete at the 2020 Americas & Caribbean Championship until COVID travel restrictions canceled that trip. Diana has a Bachelor of Education and many years of experience teaching in person and online. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a minor in Animal Science. Diana's unique blend of dog training and teaching experience, along with her education, make her especially qualified to offer you and your dog a great learning experience.
